 Silk

Silk fabrics due to its unique characteristics is one of the most popular fabrics for clothing and bedding. The composition is very similar to our skin, so it is being embraced by silk unprecedented. They can absorb a lot of moisture, 30% or more, and it very quickly cast in the environment. We have a sense that the clothing or bedding is never moist. In the summer it cools, and in winter warms and maintain the temperature of our body.

Silk has an amazing feature extensibility and return back to its original shape. It can be stretched to 20 - 25%, and then returns. Expanding strength was compared even with the steel and it has been found that the silk is stronger.

Composition of silk fiber is 80% protein and 20% sericin.

Special features:

- Silk has exceptional properties of temperature control. In the summer they cool, and in winter warms.

- Absorbs moisture up to 30% of their body weight, and still not damp. Silk absorbs sweat while skin is breathing and also neutralizes odors.

Mulberry SILK / MULBERRY SILK

Domesticated silkworm silk, called "mulberry silk" is one of the oldest animal fiber. They feed on mulberry leaves. It contains more than 18 amino acids, and protein fibers that is why is silk very healthy for human skin. Since it is hypoallergenic and does not irritate the skin, many dermatologists recommend silk bedding and clothing for those with skin problems. In comparison with other silk mulberry silk fiber is more luxurious and more breathable. It may not be permanent but it has a many year lasting features.

WILD SILK / SILK Tussi

Tussah silk is a kind of wild silk, also known as shantung. It is made of short, coarser silk. Silkworms are kept mostly on oak leaves. Dyeing of wild silk is difficult that is the reason of mostly natural colors of wild silk. Due to its composition it wrinkes less.
